This band gained notoriety as the percussion is largely provided by a tap dancer! They also dress a bit like Hi 5 and so you might fool your toddler into watching their videos and be able to dance along yourself.

Architecture in Helsinki from Australia utilise a lot of fun percussion instruments and my fave instrument, the trombone!

Todays track has an awesome animated video and a dance sequence to learn in the instrumental. I am sure this song will get a good toddler knee bob going. Let me know!

We all grew up watching Big Bird and Oscar chat to Gordon and Maria, slowly repeating c.   at.    c.  at.  c. at. Cat! Of course Sesame Street was cool then, but it is also cool now!

Listen with your littley about the magic of Counting To Four with Canada's darling Feist.  My 4 month old was diggin it.

Is this an obvious first choice?   I hope so!  Just look at the album cover, so cute, so baby friendly!  The Boy Least Likely To can introduce your wee babe to new instruments and a classic walking beat. Last.fm tells me they were included in the top ten bands of 2006 in Rolling Stone magazine, and described as sounding like what would happen “if all your childhood stuffed animals got together and started a band.”
